Versatile Corgi (VC) and Versatile Corgi Excellent (VCX) Awards

Effective 1/1/08

These awards are open to all owners of Pembroke Welsh Corgis that meet the requirements and apply for the award. These awards are earned on a point scale, described below. Points earned in each performance category are NOT cumulative. Points will be credited for the highest title achieved in each performance area. For example, a Pembroke with both an MX and MXJ earns 10 points for the agility category. Owners are responsible for submitting the application.

VC Requirements:

The Pembroke Welsh Corgi must have earned titles in at least 3 of the 5 AKC areas (conformation, obedience/rally, tracking, herding, agility) with a minimum of 20 points.

VCX Requirements:

The Pembroke Welsh Corgi must have earned titles in at least 3 of the 4 AKC performance areas (obedience, herding, tracking, or agility) and must have one AKC herding title. Furthermore, one of these titles must be an OTCh, VST, TDX, HX or MACH with a minimum total of 26 points. Conformation Champion points count toward total points.
