Red-Headed Tricolor Pembroke Welsh Corgis

The following photos depict champion black and tan Pembroke Welsh Corgis with white markings This is commonly referred to as a tricolor. Because the head does not have black that encompasses or surrounds the eyes it is commonly referred to as a red headed tricolor. A red headed tricolor may have some black on its head or it may have very little or no black markings on the head.

This is a red-headed tricolor champion with some black sprinkled across the top of the skull. Often as the dog ages, the black on the head lessens.
